Description
Women of the VUE is a quarterly event designed to focus on women in business in Bellevue and surrounding areas.
Our speaker for June will be Deputy Mayor Brenda Haywood. The Honorable Mrs. Haywood is a former Metro Councilmember, a retired educator and administrator in the Metro Nashville Public School system. Her life journey has led her to pivotal moments of historical change in Nashville Schools. Her story of personal values, faith and service is something you will not want to miss.
Our community project will be presented by a representative from Bellevue Church of Christ. This fall they are hosting a hands-on service opportunity with Feed My Starving Children to pack over 100,000 meals that will make a difference in the lives of 276 children for a year. The goal is for volunteers of all ages to come together for one cause: to feed starving children around the world. The project will cost $30,000. This is an opportunity to make a donation and to volunteer.
