On Monday, October 26 at 9:00 AM, PENCIL will host a Principal for a Day virtual event, for principals and guest principals, to kick off the week-long celebration. Principals and guests will identify a date/time that works best for their individual PFAD experience, during PENCIL’s designated “Principal for a Day” week (October 26 - 30). As a Principal for a Day, guests may meet the school's students, staff, and/or partners during a virtual experience unique to each school.

PENCIL is excited to partner with Metro Nashville Public Schools by hosting the annual Principal for a Day (PFAD), a special event that offers community members the opportunity to virtually experience the joys and responsibilities of leading a Metro Nashville Public School.
On Monday, October 26 at 9:00 AM, PENCIL will host a Principal for a Day virtual event for Principals and Guest Principals, to kick off a week-long celebration. Principals and guests will identify a date/time that works best for their individual PFAD experience, during PENCIL’s designated “Principal for a Day” week (October 26 - 30). As a Principal for a Day, guests may meet the school's students, staff, and/or partners during a virtual experience unique to each school.
This year’s PFAD is a unique experience for guests to get a glimpse into a local school and see how our schools have adapted during the pandemic. Added bonus - all Guest Principals and Principals who participate and complete the survey following their experience, will have a chance to win two (2) roundtrip Southwest Airline tickets.
