7:30 AM - 8:30 AM CDT
Join us to hear from Officer Nick Diamond, MNPS at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Officer Nick Diamond has proudly served with the Metro Nashville Police Department for over a decade. He began his career working overnight patrol before joining a proactive undercover unit, gaining invaluable experience on the front lines. He later transitioned to the School Resource Officer (SRO) division, where he currently serves at Hillsboro High School, helping to foster a safe and supportive environment for students and staff.
In addition to his work as an SRO, Officer Diamond has served with distinction on the nationally recognized MNPD Drill and Ceremony Team. He is also a trained peer support counselor, providing guidance and mental health support to fellow officers throughout the department.
Outside of the school year, Officer Diamond serves on the board of the Law Enforcement Talent Showcase (LETS), a Metro Police-led fundraiser benefiting the Nashville Children’s Alliance. This annual fall event brings the community together to support children affected by abuse and trauma.
Officer Diamond is also the founder and president of Restoring Responders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting first responders who have recently experienced a critical incident in the line of duty.
He lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife of 24 years, Nicole, and their two teenage children.
For the eighteenth consecutive year, employees of the Metro Nashville Police Department are proud to partner with the Nashville Children’s Alliance (NCA) to present the Annual Law Enforcement Talent Showcase (LETS). The event will be held at The Nashville Palace on Tuesday, 10/28/25.
LETS was created to support the mission of NCA—a local non-profit organization that provides free, comprehensive services to children and families in Davidson County who have experienced sexual or physical abuse or have witnessed violent crime. In addition to raising funds, the event helps raise awareness of the vital work being done by both NCA and the MNPD in the fight against child abuse.
Every year in the United States, 1 in 7 children experiences some form of abuse. Organizations like the Nashville Children’s Alliance are essential in providing healing and justice for these young survivors, and community support is critical to ensuring that care remains accessible and high-quality.
Here’s how you or your organization can support this important cause:
All donors will be recognized in our event program. No gift is too small, and every contribution directly helps children in our community who need it most.
