Description
CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL We began our tradition of hosting an annual Candlelight Service in 1989. This event has become a day of memorial tribute to those buried at Harpeth Hills and now all Family Legacy area cemeteries. Our staff places a candle luminary at each grave and invites family and friends to light them. Families should plan to arrive at the cemetery between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. The lighting of the candles will take place as we join in singing “Silent Night” following a brief devotional. The breath-taking sight of thousands of glowing luminaries spread across the rolling hills is an experience to be long remembered. Refreshments will be served and holiday music played throughout the day.
