Friday, December 1, 2017 at 9:00 am – “The Truth About the Templars” – Dr. Vincent Ryan, History Professor at Aquinas College. Founded during the Crusades the members of this unique religious order were famous for both their skills on the battlefield and their innovative network of financing. In recent years the Templars have been the frequent subject of intricate conspiracies about hidden treasures, forbidden religious knowledge, or Masonic connections. This lecture will separate fact from fiction to tell the true history of these fascinating medieval warriors.
